Meet Tessa
Leading yoga classes is my creative outlet. I craft each class uniquely through movement, music, themes, and self-inquiry, aiming to make yoga holistic, empowering, and accessible. I believe yoga provides tools to navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with inner wisdom, and embrace all of life’s moments.

I was first drawn to Yoga while I was in high school thinking yoga would be a great balance to my passion of riding horses. It didn’t take long for me to find out how many more benefits I would receive beyond the physical ones. I took yoga teacher training at Trinity Yoga Centre (a Kripalu affiliate school) in Kelowna BC, Canada. Since completing my 200-hour YTT in 2010, I’ve had the privilege of training with incredible teachers, including Meghan Currie, Rod Stryker, Michael Stone, Desiree Rumbaugh, and Whit Hornsberger. I also completed my SUP Yoga teacher training with SUP Vancouver in 2012. I have had the privilege to practice and train in many styles of yoga since then and discover what yoga is for me and how to create an inclusive experience for my students.
I love being inspired and sponge up any opportunity to learn. In 2017, I deepened my practice with a 300-hour advanced training under Clara Roberts-Oss, a transformative experience that shaped my teaching. The people I met along this journey lit up my life; I feel grateful to have spent several weeks immersed in yoga teachings with the most cohesive group I could have imagined. The requirements for this course have challenged me on every level and I am continually seeking more ways to elevate my offerings.
As this practice continues to inspire me; I endeavour to keep inspiring others.
I hope by living these teachings I can enhance my life and the life of others.

Yoga mentorship is one of the most valuable tools that polished my teachings. I want to share this coaching method with those wishing to re-inspire or refine their teachings.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
